Henry is the only hedgehog detection K9 in the UK! Henry is able to detect hedgehogs that are completely hidden from view in tall vegetation. Neither a spotlight or a thermal imagining camera can out detect Henry's nose. When tested against a thermal imaging camera, Henry found 100% off the hedgehogs that the camera found. He is unstoppable and impressive. Henry uses his nose to find hedgehogs at night, while they are active, or during the day when they are nestled in their nests of leaves. He his helping scientists and biologists understand why the hedgehog numbers are declining and what they can do to help these tiny, spikey mammals.

Conservation Dogs of Hawaii

Kyoko Johnson has taken her love of training dogs and her passion for conservation and combined them into something really unique and special. Not only does she serve her community with her own conservation K9s, she also helps her community by instructing pet dog owners on how to train their own dogs to become scent detection dogs and serve their community too! She has a team of pet dog owners who are on the hunt for Devil Weed, an invasive plant species on the Hawaiian Islands.
